Okay, so apparently the girls are bringing back capris—and honestly, I’m screaming a little. I love a nostalgic trend moment as much as the next girl, but before we all start reliving our 2000's throwback moments, I need to make a case for her cooler, more evolved cousin: the cropped pant.

Now, when I say cropped pants, let’s set the record straight. I’m not talking about that awkward mid-shin situation that made us all look like we outgrew our jeans overnight. I’m talking about intentional length. The kind of pant that hits right at the ankle.
